Heading to Vietnam? or already there?, then check out some of these foods.

Mi Quang
A rice noodle dish, with a source of protein chicken/beef/pork. Sometimes with fish or seafood. Seasoned with turmeric, peanuts, chilli and lime. Served with sesame toast and salad.
Add your toast and salad into the soup. Let it soak up the juice and enjoy.
My advice don’t wear white! It can splatter.
Seriously loved this dish. Yummy! With the amazing price of £1.15.

Banh Mi
It is a Vietnamese style baguette with filling. Usually stuffed with meat, pate, pickled veg and chilli.
Another amazing price of 83p per baguette, makes a perfect snack or on-the-go lunch. Of courses prices vary depending on vendor.
They sometimes have an array of fillings available, beef and cheese, bo la lot, nem nuong etc.

Com Tam
A very popular dish. Some restaurants have their own style of this dish. But it means broken rice. And originally served with pork but many people offer different meats. The main seasoning is a chilli fish sauce. Not to fear, the sauce isn’t too potent for those none fish eaters, like myself. And I very much enjoy this, I probably eat this every 3 days. £1.16 for this one in the picture. It is usually accompanied by soup and green tea. Amazing!
